Will a juvenile record show up on a background check?

I got into some trouble as a kid an was sent to a "camp" style detention center for 4 months because I had been caught shoplifting too many times. That's all behind me now and I haven't had any trouble in close to 8 years. I'm getting ready to finish my AA degree and I know that when I start applying for jobs they'll probably do a background check. I need to know if my juvenile record will show up. Or what can I do to keep it from showing up when I'm applying for jobs.

It depends upon who you apply for employment with. The FBI can find anything on you.
