When can they prosecute for check kiting?
I got behind on bills so I was cashing checks off one account to cover my main account. I had no idea this was called check kiting. Finally the bank said I could no longer cash checks but could keep my account open for direct deposit. No checks bounced. I owe the bank nothing. Can they still prosecute?
