What should I do if I see the police are watching me?

I have no idea why this is happening, but for the last week, there have been police cars parked across my street like they're watching me. I also on two occasions noticed them following me to work. My neighbors are spread out, so I know it's me they're watching. It's freaking me out. I went up to them once and asked them what was going on, they said "nothing, we're just eating lunch". They didn't even have food in the car. Do I need to get an attorney to confront them? Is this harassment? How can they stalk me like this if I haven't been accused of a crime?

If police are in fact surveilling you, they think you are involved in criminal conduct. The best thing to do is abide by the law. If they are surveilling you, consider that your phone lines could be monitored and potentially other forms of communication as well. It would be a good idea to talk with a lawyer in case police do arrest you. Good luck.

You might want to speak with a criminal lawyer in your area about this.
