What punishment is my son facing for a distribution of marijuana charge?

My 14 year old son is being accused of possible distribution of marijuana. He has trial in 2 months. He had 10 little bags when arrested.

    10 little bags" So, he should not have been charged at all. After trial, he is facing incarceration. First, because he needed a trial, rather than taking responsibility. Second, because marijuana (even in little bags) is illegal.
