What legal rights are there for victims of credit card fraud online?

I was at a website that asked for credit card information and email address right away! When I tried to get info about the product they charged my credit card without my permission. Repeated correspondence with the customer service is no help. They keep saying I have to pay shipping charges and send it back to them even after I left a note for the UPS driver to refuse order and he left it without signing (because I was not home). I don't see why I should be held responsible when I did not order it.

Did you tell your credit card company about the dispute? They will often reverse the charges and go after the company themselves.
