What is the landlord liability when their is a search and seizure performed on one of their properties?

If a home owner moves out and rents to their adult son and a drug related search and seizure was preformed at the house, can the parent (who was the landlord w/rental agreement) be criminally charged? Is it considered a felony nuisance house?
