What classifies child pornography as child pornography?

I was at an outing with my work place last week when an issue arose. I was showing pictures of my children and their friends (as they were in the photo) to another worker when another worker leaned in to look. The picture was of my 8 year old son, and his 5(F) and 8(M) year old friends. One was female, the other male. In the picture, the children are swimming, however, the little girl in the picture had discarded her swimsuit. I thought the picture was adorable and so did both the parents of the other children. However, this one particular employee says that the picture in question is considered child pornography and said that what I had was inappropriate for both myself, and being a part of the company, also bad for the company. Are they right, is it child porn or is the person an idiot for making a big deal out of a cute child memory photo? Thank you.

Child porn is whatever anyone wants it to be. If you think the picture is innocent and adorable, then it is not child porn. If your co-worker would masturbate to it, then it is child porn. You need to find out the office policy, and avoid showing pictures to the co-worker.

This is a close call but most child pornography leaves no doubt in most peoples minds as to what it is. This sounds innocent. True child pornography involves the children in sex acts.
