What are penalties for possession of methamphetamine charges?

It was for 10 grams and she is currently in jail awaiting court. I want to hire her a lawyer if she's looking at prison time. Thanks.

In every felony case, prison time is possible. 10 grams of meth is a lot, but it is probationable in some cases, especially if the woman has no criminal record. In any case, she should be represented by a good defense lawyer, so go ahead and get her that lawyer.

If the charge is 1st degree she could potentially be looking at an 86 month sentence. She should definitely have representation.
