What amount of time could I face for possession of a schedule 1 drug?

I was caught in possession of a schedule 1 drug while walking to a party. When the police asked if I had anything on my person that they should know about, I told them I was holding narcotics in my pocket. I was handcuffed and taken to the station for holding. What kind of time could I be facing for this charge?

Well it depends upon the amount. Exactly what drug and how much needs to be known. It could be that you are facing 5 years, or it could be that you are facing 30.
