If I turn myself in as a runaway will they send me to jail?

I've been gone for two weeks and I want to go home but my mom did a police report. If I turn myself in to a local police station, will they give me a ride home (it's 2 hours away) and just let me go back home? Or will they lock me up and press charges for running away?

You can go home on your own-you do not need to get the cops involved- call home and they will probably make arrangements to get you etc.
