    Filing fees might vary from court the court. Transcripts can be really expensive depending on how long the transcript is, because the charge is usually a few dollars per page. Add to that the cost of an attorney who is experienced handling appeals.

    It varies from court level to court level and state to state. The fee is generally waiverable if the defendant is indigent. To answer the question I would need to know court appealed from and state.

    It is impossible to tell you what it will cost to appeal a case. Rest assured, depending on the facts and circumstances, it will probably cost you at least 5-6,000 dollars for an attorney to START work on the appeal. hopefully, you are not thinking of handling it on your own.
