How long can they keep my boyfriend in jail for his DUI arrest?

He's been in there all night. What's going to happen next. Do I have to bond him out or something like that? Can't he get out of jail while he waits for his court date. Also how do I find a good lawyer to get him out of this dui. He says he only had 3 beers in 2 hours and he's a big guy who can handle that.

You will be able to bond him out sometime today probably. You should get your boyfriend to consult with an attorney when he gets out because a DUI conviction can cause him problems for quite some time into the future.
