How long can a petit larceny misdemeanor appear on a criminal background check for a job?

Will a reduced charge of misdemeanor petit larceny for unemployment over payment in New York, in the year 2000, appear on a criminal background check for a job I have here in Florida? Again, this was over 14 years ago. All monies were completely paid, and back then, probation was just a few visits, then that was no longer required either. Thank you.
