How can I fight a threatening letter sent to court?

Court date set for 05/01/14 for violating a protection order. The judge denied me the right to use my attorney and instead assigned me a public defender. She notifies me on 04/24/2014 we have to be in court on 04/25/2014 ( suppose to be on 05/01/2014 ). I went to court and the judge cited me for typing threatening letters to the court. I went straight to county jail with no bond and the judge assigned me a state doctor to be evaluated. I don't know how long of a sentence or stay I have. It's up to the judge. Next time she calls for me, I'll know more. I need a good attorney, got a little money to pay.
