Can I fight deportation for my boyfriend while he is in prison?

My boyfriend is once deported and is now in prison for burglary. Can I still fight his deportation? We have four kids and he is basically my only family and was my supporter.

If your boyfriend already has an order of removal/deportation entered, it may be difficult to fight his removal/deportation. Also, his present burglary charge, if he is convicted, may be an additional ground for removal/deportation and may also make him inadmissible to obtain any immigration benefits, such as obtaining a green card.

Sometimes but often it is very problematic if a person has any conviction.
