After I get a DUI can I get my license back if I got a ticket before I was able to reinstate it?

I got a DUI last year. I could have reinstated my license on 11-11-12 but did not. I got pulled over last week and the officer only gave me a ticket for cracked windshield. Can I still get my license back?

It will likely benefit you to get your license back while your new ticket is pending. Although any moving violation while under revocation can extend the revocation an additional year. You should consult a lawyer who can look at all the records and decide the best way to proceed.

Any moving violation issued to you while you are suspended or revoked (your driver's license) and then plead guilty to results in an additional year of suspension. Consult an attorney on possible plea deals that may avoid the additional loss of license to drive in Colorado.
