Thieves Steal $70,000 in Beer

Here’s some news to start the weekend, although if you’re in Tampa, it may be a dry one.

Two trailers containing more than $70,000 worth of beer were stolen from K&N Trucking, a Florida freight company, according to WTSP.com.

One trailer contained 1,260 six-packs of Corona Extra beer; other held 990 six-packs of Corona and 990 cases of Modella Especial beer.

The theft was reported at 7 a.m. Tuesday. Deputies found the cabs at around 5 p.m., but the trailers have not been recovered.
