Maryland Police Arrest Man for Making Hundreds of Fake 911 Calls

Maryland police have arrested a Brooklyn, New York man who allegedly had made hundreds of bogus 911 calls. Bobby Collins was charged with telephone misuse, false reports of crimes, and telephone harassment.

Maryland State police say they’ve been receiving calls from Collins since March. Then in April he called 911 and claimed an officer had been shot. It turned out to be a hoax. Collins has made over 400 illegitimate calls to law enforcement agencies in four states.
