Arizona Students Arrested in Sale or Muscle Relaxer

12 Gilbert Arizona high school students were arrested on suspicion of using and selling a prescription muscle relaxer to their fellow students.

The Gilbert Highland High School teens were arrested after a teacher noticed one of the kids acting sluggish. The student admitted taking four Soma pills, which he had purchased in Mexico. He also told police he had sold pills to other students. The other students had gotten the pills from their parents’ medicine cabinets.

One eighteen-year-old student were arrested on suspicion of felony possession for sale. Another eighteen-year-old was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor possession for use. The other kids, all minors, have not been charged.
