Jury selection has begun for the trial of Juan Luna, accused of 7 murders at a Brown’s Chicken franchise in Palatine Illinois. Luna is accused of killing seven people during an attempted robbery at a restaurant in my hometown.
No motive was discovered for the murders until well after the bodies were found in 1993.
Apparently, relatives of the murder victims are upset with the jury selection schedule which will run from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm. What’s more important for these folks? Convenience or justice for their loved ones?
