A fifteen year old Michigan boy has already confessed to gunning down an Iraq War Vet in a tax-refund robbery scheme. The fifteen year old and two others have now been bound over for criminal trial on charges of premeditated first-degree murder. One of the surviving victims fingered the three teens in the murder of his cousin after he cashed his tax refund check.
In his confession, the fifteen year old said he got nervous during the robbery and started shooting. At a preliminary hearing, however, the surviving victim identified one of the other teens as the actual triggerman. Regardless of who actually pulled the trigger, all three will go to trial on charges of first-degree murder. Detroit police say that the three boys were part of conspiracy to rob the victim.
